Terms and Conditions
Explore our list of delivery FAQs so that you are fully informed.
How long will my delivery take?
Our standard delivery service is 2-4 working days*. This is a guide timeframe and not a guarantee. We will try our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.
Our next working day delivery service is subject to availability in your area. We will make every effort to contact you if the next day service cannot be met. If this is the case, the difference between next working day delivery and standard delivery charges will be refunded upon request.
In the event of a long delay, we will make every effort to contact you. However, we cannot be held liable due to delays out of our control.
Please do not book contract workers or hire equipment prior to receiving your order. We cannot be liable for these costs in the event of delays.
What is the cost of delivery?
Standard delivery and next working day delivery costs are calculated and quoted at booking.
How is my order delivered?
Bulk Bags & Turf
Your order will be delivered on a pallet. Pallet delivery can only be guaranteed to your kerb side. Please note that delivery onto a driveway is at the driver’s discretion and by instructing him/her to do so, you are accepting liability for any damage done.
The customer is responsible for disposal of any pallets the goods are delivered on.
Large Orders and Loose Loads
This will be delivered using large HGV vehicles via a third party haulier.
If delivery fails due to access issues or nobody being at the address, the customer will be liable to cover the delivery fee and the return fee/re-delivery fee.
What time will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered between 8am-5pm. During the summer months or busy periods, our haulier may be operating after 5pm.
Can I specify a delivery date?
Once you have placed your order, one of the team will be in touch to confirm a delivery date and slot with you. You can speak with them at this point with a preferred date.
Do I need to be at home to accept my order?
No, as long as you tell us where to place your order if nobody is at home. We always suggest leaving the delivery driver a note with clear instructions. This must be a safe place and the customer is liable if delivery is accepted onto a driveway. It will be at the discretion of the driver as to whether delivery onto the property is possible.
Will my order arrive together?
For all multiple pallet orders, we will always attempt to deliver your order together. However, on some occasions your order may be delivered separately.
What if there are access restrictions at my property?
It is your responsibility as the customer to advise us of any access restrictions that you think may cause a delivery issue. Here are some issues that can cause delivery problems:
- weight restrictions on roads leading to your property
- low overhanging trees
- narrow roads with on street parking
- no drop kerb
In the event of your delivery failing due to any of the above, the customer will be liable to cover the delivery charge of £45 per pallet for bulk bag orders. The cost of delivery for large and loose loads will vary.
What happens if my delivery fails due to nobody being at the delivery address and nowhere safe to leave my order?
A re-delivery charge will apply at the customer’s expense.
What happens if I refuse my order on delivery?
If you have changed your mind and no longer want your order, you will be liable for the return haulage charge.
